French Barbizon School Painter, 1817-1878 was one of the painters of the Barbizon school, and is considered an important precursor of Impressionism. Daubigny was born into a family of painters and was taught the art by his father Edmond François Daubigny and his uncle, miniaturist Pierre Daubigny. Initially Daubigny painted in a traditional style, but this changed after 1843 when he settled in Barbizon to work outside in nature. Even more important was his meeting with Camille Corot in 1852 in Optevoz (Is??re). On his famous boat Botin, which he had turned into a studio, he painted along the Seine and Oise, often in the region around Auvers. From 1852 onward he came under the influence of Gustave Courbet. In 1866 Daubigny visited England, eventually returning because of the Franco-Prussian war in 1870. In London he met Claude Monet, and together they left for the Netherlands. Marcin Zaleski
was a Polish painter. Zaleski was born in Krakew. Among his works was a series of paintings on the November Uprising in Warsaw, to which he was an eyewitness as well as numerous other paintings of the city. His work is featured in Turkey's Adam Mickiewicz Museum and the Gomel Palace, among other locations. He died in Warsaw.

Fernando Gallego (c. 1440 - 1507) was a Spanish painter, brought up in an age of gothic style, his art is generally regarded as Hispano-Flemish style. It's thought that he was born in Salamanca, Spain, and his first known works were in the cathedrals of Plasencia and Coria, in Ceeres (Spain). His most famous known works are: The Retablo of San Ildefonso, in the Cathedral of Zamora, Spain The Sky of Salamanca, in the University of Salamanca, Spain The Retablo of Ciudad Rodrigo, now at the University of Arizona, Arizona, USA The Arcenillas' panels, placed in Zamora, Spain San Acacio and the 10,000 Martyrs, at the Meadows Museum, Dallas, Texas, USA The last time that he was named in a document is in 1507, but the date of his death is unknown.
Corot Camille
French Realist Painter , 1796-1875 French painter, draughtsman and printmaker. After a classical education at the Coll?ge de Rouen, where he did not distinguish himself, and an unsuccessful apprenticeship with two drapers, Corot was allowed to devote himself to painting at the age of 26. He was given some money that had been intended for his sister, who had died in 1821, and this, together with what we must assume was his family's continued generosity, freed him from financial worries and from having to sell his paintings to earn a living. Corot chose to follow a modified academic course of training. He did not enrol in the Ecole des Beaux-Arts but studied instead with Achille Etna Michallon and, after Michallon's death in 1822, with Jean-Victor Bertin. Both had been pupils of Pierre-Henri Valenciennes, and, although in later years Corot denied that he had learnt anything of value from his teachers
